$30 per class

For puppies 16 weeks to 6 months

If you just brought home an adorable little puppy, then this class is a must for you. In just 7 weeks we will cover all of the basics that you will need in order to have a happy, healthy, friendly, and attentive companion to enjoy life with.

Please keep in mind that we keep the class size small in order to ensure safety and comfort for you and your puppies.  Because we offer rolling enrollment, you can start class at anytime as long as there is still space in the class.

Not only do we provide careful socialization and play with people and dogs, but we also cover topics such as nipping, potty training, and crate training. Your puppy will learn to master basic cues including sit, down, come, focus, touch, leave it, drop it, place, stay and much more.

When you sign up for a class you will receive free access to our member-only Facebook group that includes lots of good articles and resources to help you understand how to set your dog up for success so that you can enjoy life together with your puppy!

Students will have the option of completing the AKC Star Puppy Program on the last day of class for an additional $10 fee.

Note: Classes do not cover behavioral challenges such as extreme fearfulness or aggression (barking, growling, lunging at others, or confinement distress). If you are already experiencing any of these problems please check out our private training options.

Full payment is required no later than 24 hours after class. In the event of severe weather or other emergency, class may be postponed to the following week at the trainers discretion. One handler per dog is preferred due to COVID and handlers MUST wear masks at all times. Dogs must be up to date for their age on vaccinations in order to attend and will require proof of vaccinations.  Worried that your puppy has not finished all of its vaccinations?  We base our classes on the statement made by the American Veterinarian Society of Animal Behavior.

Please note: Emails will go out every Thursday with details about class as well as the roster for the week.  If you fail to attend and your name is on the roster for this week you will be charged a $15 no show fee.

Puppy Play School

Drop in: $25 per week

For puppies 8-16 weeks

This drop in class is perfect for puppies who eventually want to attend the Puppy Basics Class. Play School is a mix of confidence building through positive small group play with other puppies of the same age and a discussion of common puppy raising topics like potty training, nipping, chewing and much more.

Please keep in mind that we keep the class size small in order to ensure safety and comfort for you and your puppies. While there are risks to bringing puppies out in public before they are fully vaccinated, there are also risks to limiting socialization during this critical developmental period (up to three months).

We base our puppy play school on the statement made by the American Veterinarian Society of Animal Behavior.
